SELF IMAGE

Hey Sparkle Bright Stars (readers)! Wishing you all a very happy and fabulous day!
Hope you all had a wonderful week.

THANKS A LOT FOR ALL THOSE WONDERFUL HEARTS WHO READ AND WISHED ME GOOD ABOUT MY LAST POST ON SMILE SELFIE ACTIVITY! WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

FOR THOSE WHO ARE READING FROM MY BLOG FOR THE FIRST TIME, WARM WISHES & WELCOME TO THIS AMAZING BLOG SPOT!

Today’s blog is about the most - most – most important mind-based assumption, which is very powerful in shaping us as individuals. We can be strong or weak; dark or fair; chubby or skinny; tall or short; anyone and everyone of us have this astonishing power of building up the “self image”.

So, what is this SELF IMAGE I’m emphasizing about??!

Is it your own image on the mirror?? Nope!!

Is it your own image in a photo??? NAH!

Well.. well.. for some or many of us who know what it is, I know you would be annoyed with the questions I asked.. But for those who don’t know what it really is, here I am!! To make you understand.

Self image is the internal construction in your mind about yourself. It’s basically what you think of yourself- your personality, character, appearance, mannerism, etc.
Let me take you to the best place- “THE HOUSE OF MIND”  in order to explain you better on how the process of self image formation occurs.

The two major rooms in the house of mind are:

1. NETWORK ROOM- consists of thoughts of “INTIMATE RELATIONSHIPS” about you(i.e., the ones who matter to you the most) - like family & friends.

2. MYSELF ROOM- exclusive room which has thoughts of “ONLY YOU”, where you’re the ULTIMATE! Here’s the place you build your "self image".

Network room & myself room are interconnected!!!

Network room sends signals to myself room by your friends/family in the form of appreciation, compliment, which makes you happy; or insult, which would put you sad. Through these signals you tend to value their ideas. Sometimes you may even think of your own assumptions of what other people would likely think about you. It’s totally your imaginary assumption! This may or may not be correct. But this clearly tells you, how strong the thoughts of others about you matters to you. And that’s how Network room influences the development of the self image in the myself room.
Myself room has the ability whether to value what is more important- the ideas of others about you (network room signals) or your own ideas on yourself (myself room signals). It processes both the network room signals and the myself room signals and develops the SELF IMAGE.

THAT’S ALL ABOUT CONSTRUCTION WORK DONE AT THE HOUSE OF MIND.
This is to make you understand the importance of building positive self image.

Lemme now move to the next session…
Here, I’m pleased to introduce the following exercise which might be of help to you!

POSITIVE SELF IMAGE BUILDING:

Here is a personal exercise for you to work on: [Go by order].

1. Take a notebook and pen.

2. List all the "fillings" (potentials) you think you have. Let it be realistic, honest and genuine. (Not necessary that you need to follow any order).

3. Turn page and write all your "gaps" (small blemishes). (No need to follow any order).

4. Read all the fillings, ONE-BY-ONE, keep patting yourself  for you are good at it! Go slow! There’s no hurry! Acknowledge how this is your power and compliment yourself! Aren’t you already too great enough?! Well, yeah right?!

5.  Once you are done appreciating yourself, with all the fillings, you feel happy about yourself. Yes? Or yes??

6.  Now before turning to your gaps side, keep in mind that you’re perfectly awesome with all your potentials. Anything that’s gonna come by, you can handle it! Cheer up! Everything can be converted to your potency, for your own growth. You are the King/Queen of your life!

7. Turn page and read the gaps, ONE-BY-ONE. Think about why and how this has become a blemish for you.

8. Think of how you can modify it so that you can turn each one of these gaps into productive ones. Work on it.
**I would love to personally help out people to sort out your gaps. You can reach me later if you need**.

9. Take one gap at a time and fix it. Practice it for 2 -3 weeks. May sure you’re able to do it great. You don’t have to rush. It’s your life. Take it calm!

10. Now before you close the book, remember your fillings and cherish about yourself. You are way too awesome, my dear sparkle bright star!

Yaay! I’m done with the exercise session too! All the very best to all those who are going to practice!
Do reach out for any queries or help. I’m always here to sort out!

Keep in mind the following:

You are the architect of your mind. Design it precisely and live peacefully!

Love yourself! It’s you and only you who have been there and going to be there with you always & forever!

Stay with positive self image, ofcourse, know to balance it! Don’t get over-confident too, that’s not really a good sign!

Keep your spirits high!

And most importantly.. Have your Sparkle Bright Smile on your face always! Spread smiles!
